"Everything that lives and moves will
be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you
everything" (Gen 9:3).
The forbidding of "meats", in 1Tim. 4:3, is one
of the signs of the "last days". The word translated "meats" in the Greek means
"foods". The "forbidding", except for genuine dietary/health reasons, is invalid
at this time, as the above verse shows, after the "flood".
One of the reasons that various "cults" advocate abstinence from especially
meat, is their belief and teaching that it weakens the individuals receptiveness
to "spirits", the source of which would be "the prince of this world"!
