Population spread from the Flood

Question: When did mankind first reach North America after Noah’s flood?

The Flood has an approx. date of 2,500 to 2,300 BC.

The Viking “Eric the Red” made landfall in Greenland in approx. 900AD.

The Asians (Descendants of Japheth?) occupied The Far East and Asia.  Genesis 10:2 names Japheth's sons as Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras.  Further descendants are named in verses 3–4: Ashkenaz, Riphath, Togarmah, Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

These peoples spread south and east.

From these peoples it is conjectured that North America was populated via the Ice Bridge between Asia and Alaska, southwards.

The Pacific Islands were populated by sea, eventually to South America!

The North American Indians were/are genetically mainly Asians, with minor mix of some adventurous Europeans, until Columbus in 1492.
