The Jew's Sinai Wandering

Question:  Who were the exodusters, and why did they move?

Moses led the Jews from Egypt, to eventually the edge of “the promised land”.

They had to wander for 40 years in the Sinai wilderness, because of the lack of faith of the people, after the “spies report” from Jericho!

They had been promised by God that they would enter the Promised Land with great victory, and ease, but because of their disobedience, they were doomed to the 40-year wander, until the rebels had all died!

During their wanderings, they were led in the day by a “pillar of cloud”, and by night by a “pillar of fire”!

Instead of a few days’ journey, it was massively extended!

Moses died just prior to the entry, led by Joshua (Jesus)!

Jesus is yet to lead the final entry into Jerusalem; (see Zechariah)!
