Extracts and comments from Revelation Chp. 2:27(a)(b)
2:27
And (a)he shall rule them with a rod (a)sceptre, staff of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to (b)shivers: as I also have received of My Father.
(a) These overcoming Thyatirians and certainly all the Ecclesia that make up "Jeshuran", (upright); will be given ruling powers (sceptre) over nations in the Millennial. They will have authority to rule strictly (iron).
(b) "Shivers"; or small pieces. This certainly means the old ways of the nations will be forcibly destroyed, and the new standards of the Millennium will be set up.
The rule of Christ, with His “Jeshuran” (righteous Israel); has been long forecast in the Old Testament. Isa. 11:11, 24, 34:8, 42:2, 43:5-6, 10, 14-15, 45:4, 49, 49:6, 65, 65:9-22, 66:13, 66:16, Ezk. 36:25-26, 37, 39, 43:4, 43:27, 44, 47, Hos. 6. Hab.2:14, Zech. 8:23, 12:10, Matt. 8:11-12 & Rev. 1:7.
The above are some of the references as to the chastising, the love for, and the re-gathering of “remnant Israel” by God; who are so important in their rule in the ‘Kingdom Age’ (Millennial), which Jesus preached constantly during His 3½ years Ministry.
They are to perform their duties, based in Jerusalem, which they failed in, during their time of prominence, which was from the Exodus from Egypt, when they as God’s “first-born Son”, (see: "Israel; My Firstborn son") were formed into a nation by Moses, God’s friend and servant.
That “Age” (the Age of the Jews); finished at Acts 28:25-28, and gave way to the current Age (of the Gentiles); which will run until the events of Revelation start!
That is when the Jews of the world are on the threshold of re-adoption by their God (Jehovah); which means they will become “Ammi”, (My people) again for Jehovah; Hos. 1&2
