Question: What does it mean to lift up the Lord?
"Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you". The Good News: God will raise us up in the most difficult of times, we just have to pray and talk to him.
Lifting Him up in our prayers, means we are focusing on Him, and He is the Object of our prayer efforts, which is well summarised in Isa. 57:15!
There is a beautiful summary of praise in the Spirit to Almighty God in Isa. 6:1.
