Question: Is the ritual meal Paul says that he received from the LORD and that he describes in 1Cor. 11:23-26 the same commandeered Passover ritual as we see discussed in the synoptic Gospels (Mark 14: 22-26, Matthew 26:26-29 & Luke 22:14-23)?
Yes, as the comment in 11:23 indicates, “as the night He was betrayed”!
The 1Cor. comment is approx. AD 57, so the participants were Jews and Gentiles, with Jews being of the "Body of Christ", as they had converted. This is just prior to Acts 28!
That order changed after AD 63, when the prophecy of Isa. 6:9–10 took effect (Acts 28:25–28), when the order changed to “Gentile first” in God’s order of priority, and the Jews laboured under the God imposed “vail” on their understanding!
It is clearly the case that the “Covenant” in Christ's Body applies to both Jews and Gentiles; but the Jews cannot accept or understand its depth of meaning until the “vail” is removed by Almighty God at the stage of the prophecy of Zech. 12:10.
