Nebuchadnezzar's Tree, Daniel 4!
Question: What is the meaning of “The Tree” in Daniel 4:23?
When the whole of Dan. 4 is read from 4:1–36; it is clear that the subject is the humiliation of Nebuchadnezzar, to bring him to the right mind before Almighty God.
Verses 35 & 36 show that the 7 years were successful in doing that and that the last words of v.36 show the humility and wisdom that had been gained; “and those that walk in pride He (God) is able to put down”!
