Moses and the first 5 Books of the Bible!

Question:  Who were the likely authors of Deuteronomy?  What are their main arguments?

The author was Moses.

The book covers the administration of the Nation in the wilderness and afterwards, with many details of the administration detail of all Israel.

It records its rebellions and behaviours against Moses and Aaron, their successes and failures in battle, their tendency to Idolatry, God’s Laws repeatedly reviewed and stressed, particularly 6:4!

It is repeated that they are a “chosen people”, with the particularly expected duties and adherence to behaviours towards their God!

It expresses the blessings for obedience and the condemnations for opposition!

There is the moving prophecy of Messiah in v.18:15 which the present Orthodox Jews insist is proof of Jesus being a fake, as they insist that their messiah must be of human stock, not Divine, completely ignoring Gen. 3:15!  This latter point is why in Acts 28:25–28 the prophecy of Isa. 6:9–10 is pronounced by Paul; which most Churches miss, and therefore their teaching is not accurate, which causes much confusion with sincere Christians!
