Jesus, God, and the Great White Throne!

Question: What happens to a person who is “left behind” at the Rapture?  Can they still be saved even though their faith wasn’t strong enough to get them through the Tribulation period before Christ returns again?

This is a frequently raised question, which has many answers drawn from people’s opinions.

When the writer and his family attended a Christian Group called “Open Brethren”, the most definite teaching was/is that only one chance for “Salvation in Christ Jesus” was possible, which was that moment in time, by the free-will of the individual!

What was frequently used as a persuasive Scripture verse was/is “now is the accepted time, now is the day of Salvation” (2Cor. 6:2). That of course was/is correct, and at the time of Paul’s statement was aimed or directed at “the Jew first and the Gentile”; after Acts 28:25–28, it was reversed to Gentile first and Jews who could see through the “veil”, (2Cor. 3:14–16), that God placed over the Jewish understanding; which is still the case, and will not change until the events of Zech.12:10!

The above words are from the great Apostle Paul; who, as we all know, was wrenched by the Risen Christ Jesus from being a murderer of Christians, into the most well trained and knowledgeable of the Apostles, for the specific purpose of Evangelizing God’s people Israel; to explain to them the transition from the “Old Covenant” to the “New Covenant”; via the “Shed Blood of Jesus”; (Jesus said “I come only to the lost sheep of Israel”)!

What is seen in Paul’s writings, and his forced changeover to Gentile first and the Jews, is the wisdom of Almighty God in that many Gentiles will eventually be harvested from the people of the Earth, until a defined number have been made up, (Rom. 11:25–27); after which the Jews will return to their status of “Ammi” (My People); and the 1000 years of Christ’s Rule on Earth will begin; in “Power and great Glory”!

What is seen in the above Biblical picture, is how Almighty God wants no persons to be lost for eternity; (2 Peter 3:9) and has shown His Way of keeping open the chance of many peoples being Salvaged from the Earth’s situations, and the whiles of Satan!

There is no doubt that those that make a decision for Jesus in their lifetime are according to Paul “part of Jesus’s Body”!  What that means in detail won’t be possible to know until the event; and Paul was overcome with awe and wonder from what he knew!  These “Christ-Ones” are according to Paul’s writings, “not destined for Wrath”,  (1Thess. 5:9)!

There are clearly many people who will not have realized soon enough that the “Body of Christ” has a defined number of people; and when the “Rapture” (the snatching away) of Christians has taken place; there will be many who will wish they had not been “left behind”!

The Writer wishes to be clearly understood at this stage; what is about to be said is an opinion, (and prayer) only.  There are many examples in Revelation, especially Chaps.19, 20, and 21, that may give hope to many humans who find themselves in a “left behind” situation when the “Body of Christ” has left the Earth; and that they may find themselves as the “Over-comers” described in the Bible; as many are the “Mansions” (places), in God the Father’s Dominion; as commented on by Jesus (John 14:1–6).  It is the prayer here, that these people when before “The Great White Throne”, are in the “Lamb’s Book of Life”; and when the Examination of “all they ever did” is over; they are worthy to be in some part of God Almighty’s Kingdom; and as Jesus alluded to in His so-called “Beatitudes”!

God and His Son Christ Jesus, wants people with Him/Them in the next Dispensation; and Eternity who want to be there!
