Jehovah WILL Provide!

Question:  Where is Yaweh Yireh in the Bible?

Jehovah-Jireh; (Jehovah will see) (Jehovah will provide) (Gen. 22:14).

From the same place/point, the Messiah, “will provide” Salvation (saving) for Israel!

As is well known, God did “provide” a son, as promised to Abram and Sarah.  His name was Isaac, and he was a “son of a miracle”, as Abram and Sarah were approx.100 years old at the time of his birth.

When God instructed Abraham to “sacrifice” Isaac, the emotions of Abraham would have been almost impossibly high, but God was testing Abraham’s trust and faith in Him, “to provide”.

By this act of faith in Father God, Abraham became “the friend of God”, (2Cron.20:7; Isa. 41:8 & James 2:23), and is listed in Hebrews 11.

God did, and in v 13 “a Ram” was “provided” for the sacrifice, which became the pre-figure for Israel (and the world) (the “Scapegoat”) of the “self-sacrifice” of God in Christ Jesus.
