God; "All in All"

Question: What do 1Corinthians 15:28 and Ephesians 1:23 mean by “so that God might be all in all”?

When Christ Jesus hands back the “finished Work” to the Father; Almighty God’s Planning for the Salvation of as much of the human race as possible comes to fruition; and the success will be the Anti-thesis of that of Satan; i.e. the positive against the negative!

The Son of God became a man (“the seed of the woman”, Gen. 3:15) to live the life you and I would have to live in order to enter Heaven. Jesus lived the perfect life.  There was no sin in Him even though He was completely human, Titus 2:13-14). The night before He died, He was able to say to His Father, “I have brought You glory on Earth by completing the work You gave Me to do” (John 17:4).

It is to be noted IMO, that the Work of Jesus is in a number of parts:

The confirmation and eventual completion of the 1st Covenant with Moses.

When He was in the “flesh” prior to His Crucifixion He stated repeatedly, “I come only to the house of Israel”, and when they Crucified Him, His last Words were “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do”; these words applied mainly to Israel, at that time.

To inaugurate the 2nd Covenant, which He did at the “Last Supper”; when He showed the Jews the way of acceptance with God the Father; because of their terrible record with God the Father’s 1st. Covenant; and their non-observance of their vows to God (see Deuteronomy, Malachi and elsewhere)!

So we see that to enable God’s vows regarding Israel (“His First Born Son”), and His 1st. and 2nd. Covenants to be enabled Regarding His Holy Words for Israel’s salvation (as per the prophets); and for the Salvation of the Gentiles as per. Prophecy (“a Light to the Gentiles”); there had to be a third event, which is shown in Acts 28:25–28; and was enacted by Paul from Isa. 6:9–10, which will end at Zech. 12:10, and Israel will become “Ammi” again!

So; all the foregoing itemizes the elements to bring the “completed Work” into the Father’s Domain, as the Author of all Salvation; making the Father “All in All”!
