Question: In Isaiah 9:6, it says. “His name ‘will be (future tense)’ called Mighty God, and Everlasting Father”. Does this mean that during the Son’s pre-existence before He took on human form, His name was not called Mighty God and Everlasting Father?
No; Almighty God is already in that state of Reverence in His Heaven, together with the Son, John, 1:1.
As you will remember, the prayer that the Lord taught His disciples; “your Kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven”!
When that happens, the remaining Earth population will revere Him as His Heavenly Host do!
As you will have noticed, Isa.9:6–9, is regarding the prophesied Government on Earth of Christ Jesus, which is mentioned in many places in the Old Testament, and which will last for 1000 years, prior to the final dealing with Satan and his armies!
