Ezekiel 35:5

T

Question:  Is the area around Mt. Seir or the mountain itself abandoned?  Ezekiel 35 prophecies it will be uninhabited forever.

Google: Where is the mountain of Seir today?

Mount Seir is the ancient and biblical name for a mountainous region stretching between the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba in the north-western region of Edom and southeast of the Kingdom of Judah.

Who were the inhabitants of Mount Seir?

[9] And these are the generations of Esau the father of the Edomites in mount Seir: [20] These are the sons of Seir the Horite, who inhabited the land; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, [21] And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the dukes of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.

The reason for God’s condemnation of Seir (the people), is because of Ezek. 35:5!

The world’s people should never forget, that Israel are the “chosen people”, and that though Lo-Ammi at present, they will never be disowned forever by God, as some Churches now teach.
