Christ Jesus, and God's Two Covenants

Question: What is the significance of the New Testament?

The link between the two Testaments (Covenants) is critical to the understanding of Almighty God’s Plan and desire for (if possible) all mankind!  His desire is to relate to His created humans in a way which is sincere and loving; which parents and children understand as natural, in good family relationships!  His attempts with the heavenly Creation have partially been successful, but under the influence of His most attractive entity in the heavenlies; Lucifer; ⅓ of heavenly beings have rebelled with Lucifer, and with the free-will granted to them, followed Lucifer (renamed Satan)!  God’s 2nd attempt with the call of Abram also failed, and his progeny (Israel), rebelled with the free-will granted to them, has led to their many troubles, past and yet future; which will culminate in their eventual acceptance, in great mourning, for their Messiah (Christ Jesus, Crucified, died, Raised, and Ascended; Zech.12:10)!

The current attempt started in intense urgency at the end of Acts, after Paul had visited the last of the Roman Synagogues, but had to pronounce failure with the Jews', as they finally rejected Jesus as Saviour; Acts 28:25–28; and at that stage, the Great Love of God was focused on the Gentiles of the World!  The intention had always been to draw in the willing Gentiles as was mooted in Acts 10, and Genesis; but it was God’s intention to always have the Jews as ‘First Priority’; which they declined at the end of Acts.  That event had been obliquely prophesied in Hosea 1&2, where the prophet describes how they would become “Lo-Ammi; (not My people); and eventually “Ammi” (My people)!

The two Covenants pointed out; are the crucial link describing the position of all people who Truly know their Saviour; as He is the “second Adam”; and bridges all the failures described above; and is for all people of Goodwill towards God, and His Messiah; Jesus!  Those people are “seen through Christ Jesus” as without sin or flaw; and are not subject to the yet coming events regarding God’s retributions and Judgements, described in Scripture.

All our communications with our Saviour; must be in “Spirit and in Truth”!
