Apostles and Prophets

Question:  Are there still genuine apostles and/or prophets today?  (if yes have you personally met them ad can you attest to their genuineness)?

In my opinion, no.

They were very evident in the Old Testament, because of the special relationship (Covenant) between the Jewish Tribes and God the Father.  The prophets became corrupt, and the people also, see below, and summarised in Malachi!

After Acts 28:25–28, the onus for witness is on the whole “Body of Christ”, and particularly the “Gentile” (see Apostle Paul’s explanations).  This is where the “free-will” of the individual Christian comes into play in daily ordinary life!

When the events described in Revelation are in play, it is clear that the “power of the Holy Spirit” can be called upon for specific effects, when needed, which are described in the early Chapters.

As is seen in Rev. 11:3, two special prophets/witnesses are working with impunity in the world for 1,260 days (3.5 Jewish years of 360 days), which is the second half of the prophesied “Jacob’s Trouble” (Jer.30:6–8); which is just before the prophesied second Advent of the Risen Christ Jesus, in “Power and great Glory”!
